Ballon Meats pride ourselves  as being one of the top buyers of livestock in Ireland . We source 80 per cent of our stock from local farms , the animals have been born and reared on these farms and will gaurantee us full traceability from farm to fork . Through long term working relationships with our suppliers who provide a natural environment for their livestock we can provide our customers with a top quality beef , lamb and pork product .

Right from the establishment of the Company in the 1970s , livestock has been asessed and hand selected by a family member , a practice still done to this day . This assists our suppliers in producing  exactly the type of high quality stock we require .

With our quality assurance schemes in place , starting from farm level right through to our customer shelves , we have full controll of the quality of the product from farm to fork .The selection process we have in place provides a product that has a succulent taste and is full of flavour .
